Audience Award WIN at Rome International Film Festival!

What a happy thrill it was to be awarded the Audience Award at RIFF! This was such a special festival filled with wonderful films.

And look how beautiful the award it! "The Sylvia"

Here is some info about her from RIFFGA website:

"Acclaimed artist and Rome, Georgia-native Julia Knight locally crafted an ornate bronze statue dubbed "The Sylvia." Each year, RIFF awards Sylvia statues for Jury Award and Audience Award winning films.

Rhea Silvia, the Roman goddess of the forest, was the mother of Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome.

The statue is symbolic not only because of its Roman mythology roots, but is also representative of the filmmaking process. An Idea is conceived. A long period of development follows that requires much nurturing, and finally, birth is given and the film can take on a life of its own."

Sunny and LaLa enjoyed a fabulous audience Q & A after the screening.
